Hannah hikes the GPT for Steph
Donation protected
In March I will be doing a 14 day, 160km solo hike through the Grampians National Park to raise money for my good friend Steph - to help them pay to get the gender-affirming top surgery they need and deserve.
The challenge
It’s just me, a backpack and a tent. For two weeks. In the wilderness. Alone! It’ll be like Survivor apart from it’s real life and I’ll take my own food and probably (hopefully) not drink my own wee. The trail is called the Grampians Peaks Trails and as the name suggests there will be a lot of steep ascents, descents and rock scrambling! RIP my knees. Best get training!
How you can help
If you are in a position to do so and would like to support Steph, and support me in fundraising for Steph, I would really appreciate your donation. This is such an important part of Steph’s journey and I can’t wait for them to be able have this medically necessary procedure that will make them feel more at home inside their own body, a privilege many of us are lucky to already have.
If you don’t know what gender-affirming surgery is, that’s ok! I’ve included some helpful resources below where you can learn about it, and more ways in which you can support trans and gender diverse communities.
