Hannah & Emma Levy medical and family support Fund

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kim Fazio. I am a family friend of the Levy Family.  With permission from the Levy family I want to share some information on why this fund was created.

On September 19, 2020 It started out like a normal day with Hannah and Emma spending quality time together as sisters do, to go meet some friends for a work out at Swallow Cliffs in Palos Township, Il. On the way there they were involved in a serious car accident.  Both Hannah and Emma were then transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where they were admitted to the intensive care unit to address their injuries.

Niki (their mother)  had an unexpected phone conversation that no parent should ever endure and the call that all parents pray they never receive.  It was the call with the police officer advising to get to the hospital immediately and that both girls were transported by ambulance for the injuries they sustained from a serious car accident.  Aaron( their father) and Niki immediately drove to the hospital to be confronted with the heart wrenching news of the extent of Hannah and Emma's injuries.  This moment would forever change their lives.

Hannah has sustained a fractured pelvis, lacerated kidney, trauma to her shoulder, and countless painful bruises throughout her body.  Emma sustained extreme injuries which include a severely broken pelvis, sacrum and ankle. Along with a collapsed lung, lacerated spleen and brain injury.  Emma has not gained consciousness since the impact of the accident.  While doctors are hopeful that she will have the ability to recover, it will be a very long road ahead.  Both girls will potentially be in the hospital for several weeks with several months of treatment to recover.

A little glimpse into the Levy family:
Hannah is 18 and a senior in high school.  She has been working  for the past few years at the local pizza restaurant to save money to go to college next year.  Emma just turned 16 this month and is a sophomore in high school.  As soon as Emma turned 16 she couldn't wait to go join Hannah and get a job working at the same pizza place with her big sister.  The bond that these two sisters have is untouchable by any I know.  They always are together and would do anything for each other.  This bond doesn't end there, they also are loving siblings to their younger brother Joey (12) and their younger sister Sophia(9).

Niki recently had major back surgery but still manages to be the "Super Mom" we all know her to be. Just recently due to Covid-19, she decided to stay home from her job and become the primary teacher/mom to all four of  her kids, while they do their e-learning at home.  Aaron and Niki are self-employed in which they work together running their trucking company.  Aaron is an amazing dad, who has to be on the road most days running semi-loads to businesses around the country.

I am hoping with this fund set up and with  donations from friends and family, we can help take the financial burden off of this amazing family.  Allowing  Aaron and Niki to both be at the hospital during this tragic time.  Hannah and Emma both need their mom and dad by their side.  Niki and Aaron are the type of people that would help anyone in need.  I personally have experienced their amazing support during some of the most trying times.  Every Facebook request or "go fund me page" asking for help, the Levy family are the first to donate and help in any way possible.  The medical bills for their two girls I imagine will be very significant along with the family's bills that will pile up while they put their business on hold to be there for Hannah and Emma.

Niki and Aaron have expressed their extreme gratitude for the out pouring of love and support through e-mails, phone calls and text messages.  They are truly grateful for the prayers sent their way and especially to Hannah and Emma.

Any donation to this fund will be used for medical bills and to help minimize the financial burden this horrific tragedy will put on the Levy family. Any size donation will be greatly appreciated.  If you are unable to donate we know it is trying times for most, so prayers are greatly appreciated as well .

Thank You and God Bless from the entire Levy family and extended family.  We are all one big family working together to  support each other.
