World Poomsae Championships-Peru
Anyoung haseyo(Hello)!
We are HanMu Taekwondo, a small family orientated club residing in Avondale Heights.
6 of our Elite Athletes have won and qualified themselves to be part of the Australian National Team to contest the World Poomsae Championships hosted by the beautiful city of Lima, Peru.Unfortunately, we have to fund our own expenses such as interstate travel for training camps, competition fees and accomodation. An athlete can pay a substantial amount within a year. For parents with multiple athletes, it can be a greater burden.
Let us introduce you to your Australian Athletes:
Sarah Upton- U40 Female Individual
Phong Tran- U30 Male Individual
Kaylah Spiteri- Junior Female Team
Jasmine Khong- Cadet Female Team
Abigail Wong-Cadet Pairs
Jenibelle Wong- Cadet Female Team
These athletes have been training diligently every single day with the support of their Head Instructor and Team Manager for the World Poomsae Championships Diego Chiriff to achieve their dream. The World Championships is every athlete's dream, including ours. They have practiced hard. But practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. All the sacrifices they make is to achieve the extraordinary
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.
And your Australian athletes put that extra in every single training session.
Their hard work have finally paid off and any support, in any way, will make a difference.
The travel expense to Peru, the accomodation, uniforms and its associate expenses are not cheap. All donations will be directly provided to these athletes immediatly to help support their financial burden.
On behalf of HanMu Taekwondo, we thank you for your support and our Elite Athletes will represent our Country with pride and dignity.
