Hello friends, as you know, our sweet Hanky Moo had a difficult first year of his life. Neglected, malnourished and blind, he was dropped at the shelter with is sister Sophie, who is also blind. We adopted Hanky in April 2012. He has had 2 1/2 happy years here in Mootopia, with us his family, his home. Last week, a large tumor was discovered in his abdomen and Hank stopped eating and drinking. Without immediate surgery, our Hanky's path was heading to eventual death. As I write this he is in the hospital awaiting his surgery. Although, the surgery (5500.00) and treatment ( don't know the amount) is very expensive, we have to try to give him more time here with us. He is bonded to his sister Sophie Moo and brother Wally Moo. More so, we are deeply bonded to our boy. Hanky is an inspiration not just to us but for many people for his love, courage and kind ways. He and Sophie's story have encourgaed many blind cat adoptions and they spread awareness of how capable and awesome blind cats are. Hanky still has more to give and to be honest his parents need him... Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
And as a small token of our gratitude we will send you a print of this picture of Hanky and Wally or of Hanky and Sophie.
