Hanford Troop 413

On or around October 15, 2020 Hanford BSA Troop 413 had our scout trailer stolen from the church property it was parked on. The trailer contained most of our camping gear and equipment. In the early hours of October 20, 2020 the trailer was found and is back in the hands of Troop 413. Unfortunately, there is some damage to the trailer and most of the items that the trailer contained are gone.  We are still assessing the cost of the damage and the value of the missing contents. Right now we have a rough estimate of what we know is missing and for the repairs.
Hanford Troop 413 consists of several special needs scouts, this loss is especially devastating to them.
Our hope is to raise enough money to repair our trailer and replace all of our missing and damaged items.  We are hoping that we don’t have to use the churches insurance,  to avoid an increase in their insurance rate. All donations will go to First Christian Church Hanford, (as this is who the troop is chartered through), and the church will be sure that all donations will be used for our scout troop. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to our scouts.
