Handyman needing a hand

Donation protected
I am helping a friend/coworker who is in dire need of medical care. Brandon currently is going through AML and can’t afford to take time off to do the treatments as well as the co pays. His current insurance co pay even with help through other programs is still close to $250 per specialist visit. He has an average of 48 visits during his treatment. Which will be interveinal chemo. His recent blood labs show that his platelet count is less than 10,000 so he is at high risk of serious injury if he is cut or strikes his head. He is brusing just from daily activities. Him being a handyman it makes him that much more prone to getting hurt. Currently he is looking into assistance from the State of Texas and Harris Co. But it is taking more time than he can spare. If you could be so kind to donate or even help him find other odd jobs in the Houston, Texas area for him to achieve his goal. It would be a blessing at this time. He is one of the hardest working people I've ever met but he can't beat this on his own. Skip that extra coffee tomorrow and put that towards his fund. Thank you for taking the time to read this and may we wish Brandon luck on his path to healing! Brandon is now in medical care. This is the updates from his Facebook. "Admitted in the hospital... My bloodwork came back critical. Waiting on oncology and hematology to come up with a plan for treatment. If you need to reach me send a message here. My cell may be dead soon. *UPDATE* They want to start chemo therapy, IVIG and put me on a steriod... Then see what happens *2nd UPDATE* CT scan shows possible bleeding in my brain. Going to get a blood transfusion once my blood band is matched. To see if it will help raise my platelets. They have dropped into 4,000 range. They should be in the 150,000 range on average. I'm banned from walking or standing until they stabilize me. *3rd UPDATE* Two tansfusions raised my platelets to 30,000. Oncology will be in at 5 or 6 to discuss treament options. If my body is stable enough I may be able to do the rest on outpatient by late this week or by next week. *4th UPDATE* They are still trying to figure out the underlying cause. They are trying to stabilize me and stop the bleeding. Im meeting with a second oncologist/hematologist today. They just drew more blood. If my platelets are maintaining then i can go home and do outpatient for the rest of the procedure. Currently they are ruling it as ITP. But that it is being caused by something. They don't know what. So there are a few ways to treat it. Which chemo therapy is one. But that's if it keeps reoccurring. Which it has. Other options are therapies and removal of my spleen. I'll know more by this evening"
