In August of this year, 4 days before Dad's birthday we took Nya to the doctor beacuse she had a fever for over a week. That is when we found out Nya has Leukemia ALL. It was a life changer! We already were living below poverty level, and thank God we have medicaid for the girls to help with some medical expenses. We do not receive any other kind of assistance. We pay all of our bills and pay for all of our gas and food. There are times that Mom and Dad skip meals so the girls can eat a full meal.
As we have began taking this tough road ahead, we have come to a stand still. We have depleted all of the little savings we had between gas, food and travel expenses from going back and forth to the hospital and clinic. The money that we are trying to raise is to help pay backed up bills, help pay upcoming bills, groceries, and to help fix our car so we can make it where and when we need to go. We hope you call can see that we are asking for a hand up not a hand out. We have been doing this on our own as best as we know how, but the small jobs that we find are just not cutting it.
We appreciate any blessings that anyone can come up with. Any words of encouragement or advice will willingly be accepted! We are not the first family to go through this kind of thing and definitely will not be the last. Thank you for any kind of help through our rough times! Bless all of you with or without giving! Thank you again for taking time to read our story!
