Hands for Jamaica: Hurricane Melissa Relief

Hello, my name is Dr. Agard, and I am the President of Hands International, a nonprofit humanitarian organization headquartered in Loma Linda, California, with our East Division based in Newark, Delaware. Established approximately 17 years ago, Hands International has carried out numerous medical missions and disaster relief efforts, serving underserved communities around the world.

On November 9th, a dedicated team of volunteers from Hands International will depart for Jamaica to assist communities devastated by Hurricane Melissa. This monster storm has created an extraordinary challenge, leaving many families without homes, access to medical care, and basic necessities. We are in urgent need of funds to purchase medications and other supplies to provide relief for the people of Jamaica. We assure you that 100% of your contribution goes towards the mission, and we have no administrative fees.

Our volunteers donate their time and personally cover their own transportation costs, but we also need support to fund:

-Medical supplies and medications for community health services

-Relief supplies such as food, clean water, and hygiene kits

-Cleanup and rebuilding materials for homes and community structures

-Logistical support to ensure aid reaches the hardest-hit areas

I will personally be among the volunteers traveling to Jamaica, and I will ensure that every dollar raised goes directly to those in need. Your support will help us bring healing, hope, and hands-on assistance to families as they recover and rebuild after Hurricane Melissa.
