I started making sourdough and giving it away and giving it away as an act of love and care to be passed on and on. And at I held this knowing that I could do more than give the bread away for free.

I feel deeply about the world and at times sit with a broad spectrum of emotion that can be hard to put into words. I remind myself that I cannot sit in despair, because I’ll get nothing done.

I am outraged these days about many issues, and I would love to be helping everywhere I can.

Right now, I am focused on the atrocities in Gaza, the mass starvation that has been put upon babies, children, adults.I cannot sit with without doing something.

So I am focusing on this fundraising effort that for now resides in bread making to raise funds for Gaza through various organizations. I am also working to connect with Alaa, a woman residing in Northern Gaza who is working to collect funds to purchase flour so that she can make bread and feed her people in Gaza. That piece is in the works.

Thank you for whatever you can do. I love baking bread. Its a sideline gig that is a fairly slow process though I can make 4-5 loaves per week. If you aren't local to Bellingham, and still want to support these efforts, you are most welcome and know that you are so appreciated.
