Hello everybody! My name is Tiffany and I am reaching out for help with my dad. He broke his neck in 2001 and he has been paralyzed ever since. I was 8 when this happened and that very day I made a promise to myself and my dad that I would take care of him until the ends of the earth. My dad means everything to me; he is my best friend. I have taken CPR classes, I have my fingerprint card as well, and I have over 20+ years of experience in being my father's caregiver.

Well, just recently, and I will make this story as short as possible... My father woke up one morning with his front door busted open and his whole house was ransacked. To make things even worse, they stole my father's scooter (his only means of transportation). One day, I heard a knock at my back door and it was my father who had crawled all the way to my house because they had stolen his phone, scooter, and the keys to his Jeep. He was trapped in his apartment for almost 2 days because he did not have a phone to call nor a scooter to go looking for help. I am so broken to pieces that someone could do such a thing but I have no choice but to reach out for help. He lost his apartment and he is currently homeless but is not sleeping out on the streets.

My father is still a man and he does like his privacy and his independence, and I try to give him that as much as I can, but boy do I constantly worry about my dad. I want the best for him always. I have been put on a waiting list to start getting paid to take care of my father. If I was well off, then it wouldn't even cross my mind to reach out like this. I have 2 young kids as well and I am doing my very best to try to keep my loved ones happy and healthy. I have never made a GoFundMe before and I'm not really sure how this works but I am desperate at this point. I pray anyone in life that is struggling right now makes it out and finds happiness in life.
