My brother was in a car accident in 2008, which resulted in a spinal injury leaving him paraplegic. The most recent setback that has happened was Friday July 2nd, 2021 when a neighbor came knocking on my mom's door not long after driving back from an appointment saying that my brothers van was filled with smoke. Firefighters were quick to respond, but by then the damage from the fire melted the interior ruining the part of the van that had the ramp my brother uses to get in and out.

We are extremely blessed and grateful that no one was in the van at the time that it was engulfed in smoke. It was hard on my family to lose this van because my brother needs transportation to medical appointments, therapy and day to day activities. Having a van has become a necessity over a luxury and for those of you that are or know someone that is handicapped, then you would understand that statement. Purchasing a vehicle on a budget is difficult to do in its self, but now we have to search for a handicapped accessible van and they do not come cheap because of the customizations in it. Which is why I'm asking you to help my brother continue to live his life by donating anything you can to buying a new van. Any donation amount is much appreciated.
