Handicap accessible van for Easton Webber

Hi everyone , I’m fundraising for the purchase of a used handicap accessible van for our son Easton Webber . Easton was born March 20th 2014 with a rare brain disorder. It’s called hemimaglencyphaly. He was born having 150 to 200 seizures a day. After 92 days in the nicu, countless test and scans, several different medicines , the seizures quickly put his life at risk and neurosurgeons made the decision at the age of 5 months old that a hemispherectomy was our last option. They hoped by removing the left side of his brain where most of the seizures where coming from would either stop or at least slow the seizures down. The surgery left our son unable to walk, talk, eat or drink for the rest of his life . Easton is now 8 years old and still battles with seizures and many other medical conditions and has had multiple surgeries over the years. Easton is one of the happiest kids you would ever meet. He’s always smiling and laughing and hardly ever cries. He loves Mickey Mouse, Elmo and cocomelon on repeat all day everyday and loves watching tbackyard breaks with his Father . He loves going to school and being around his classmates and teachers but one thing that makes him the happiest is swinging. As Easton gets older he has become a lot harder for his mother to carry and lift out of his wheelchair and into his car seat to go to therapy, his doctor appointments and most importantly school. Easton needs a van that is dependable and has a ramp into the side of the van where he is able to be wheeled in and his wheelchair can be locked in place where no lifting is required. We are a one income family due to Eastons’s mom being his full time caregiver and not being able to work outside of the home therefore coming up with the financials to purchase a used van is extremely difficult. We want Easton to live the best life possible and to be able to go anywhere we go and be apart of all of our family functions and of course his schooling and therapy services are the most important to us. Having a vehicle to completely accommodate all his needs would not only make his life more enjoyable but also our lives easier and more fulfilled.
