The young and ambitious team of WHV (Wilhelmshavener Handball Verein) from the city of Wilhelmshaven, a coastal town in Lower Saxony, Germany, was well prepared and ready for a new season in the 2e Handball Liga of Germany (2.HBL) after being promoted from the 3.Liga. These professional players trained so hard since the 1st of July, despite all the Corona problems and they were fully ready to go start a new season in the German 2nd Liga, one of the strongest fields of the world. ...at the end of September, when the unthinkable struck them, their main sponsor was put into jail !
As it looks now he is accused of large financial fraud and, true or not, it might well mean that these players will not get to play the whole season with their team and maybe have done most of their preparation for nothing. They have started the season, with their team being officially declared bankrupt and have won 3 out of 4 games so far, which, considering the circumstances, is unbelievable. They already lost 2 very good players to other teams as they are unable to keep them in the team because of the financial problems.
As a parent of one of them I can and will not let this happen without a fight, without trying to do everything that is in my reach to help them. That is why I started this crowdfunding campaign some time ago. Together with a similar crowdfunding on Leetchi, where they received almost € 10.000, there still is a long way to go. Problem is time...
What do they need? Money off course... For what? Well, for the trainings, the facilities, the travel through all of Germany, the food, the stadium, their salaries to live and pay the bills, their coaches and managers and so on, to be able to play in the 2. HBL or any other competition.
So I beg you to give any amount, even the smallest is welcome as together we can save them. I am counting on the power of the Internet, the power of Social media and the help of so many people so that we can have this team survive.

As a separate project I have started a website where donations are welcome as well and will allow you to earn money when you find other sponsors. Though it is not the goal of this campaign (I want this team to get the maximum of donations as possible with the lowest costs), you can earn up to 25% for donations made through your links.
Help them NOW, before it's too late, as the season has already started and the Team managers have until the beginning of December to have their financial situation in order.

Wie es jetzt aussieht, wird ihm großer Finanzbetrug vorgeworfen, und ob wahr oder nicht, es könnte durchaus bedeuten, dass diese Spieler nicht die ganze Saison mit ihrer Mannschaft spielen können und vielleicht den größten Teil ihrer Vorbereitung auf nichts getan haben. Sie sind die Saison begonnen, ihre Mannschaft wurde offiziell für bankrott erklärt und haben bisher 3 von 4 Spielen gewonnen, was angesichts der Umstände unglaublich ist. Sie haben bereits 2 sehr gute Spieler an andere Teams verloren, da sie aufgrund der finanziellen Probleme nicht in der Lage sind, sie im Kader zu halten.
Als Elternteil eines von ihnen kann und will ich dies nicht kampflos zulassen, ohne zu versuchen, alles zu tun, was mir zur Verfügung steht, um ihnen zu helfen. Deshalb habe ich vor einiger Zeit diese Spendenaktionen gestartet. Zusammen mit einem ähnlichen Crowdfunding auf Leetchi, wo sie fast 10.000 € erhielten, ist noch ein langer Weg vor uns. Problem ist Zeit ...
Was brauchen Sie? Geld natürlich... Wofür? Nun, für die Schulungen, die Einrichtungen, die Reise durch ganz Deutschland, das Essen, das Stadion, ihre Gehälter, um zu leben und die Rechnungen zu bezahlen, ihre Trainers und Managers und so weiter, um in der 2. HBL oder einem anderen Liga spielen zu können.
