Help for Jinx!

Donation protected
Hi Guys! This is Heather. Just three short months ago, Coty and I, went to the Pikes Peak Humane Society and adopted our sweet puppy Jinx. She has been the brightest little light in our lives. We have spent nearly every hour of the day taking her on adventures with us and training her. She has been the easiest, and most well-behaved dog that anyone from our family has ever seen.
However this week, while on her usual nightly walk, Jinx's little life was changed. While sniffing the bushes and protecting our home, Jinx saw a large deer and took off after the buck... straight into a busy street. After making it across the street safely, she started to come back and was hit by a small SUV.
She spent two nights in an emergency pet hospital and was released less than 24 hours ago. While Jinx is back home, we are still not out of the woods. Jinx has severe nerve damage in her right front arm that the vet says could most likely require reconstructive surgery in a few months. She also has a massive amount of road rash on this arm and her skin is at high risk of becoming necrotic and risks needing a skin graft surgery in order to heal.
With that said, her medical bills have already added up very quickly. So far her hospital stay and all of her treatments have added up to $2,000. Her prescriptions and necessary shots are an additional $250.
Due to our recent move to Colorado, and working on going to school for our professions we are only able to pay a small fraction of her total bill at the moment.
Of course, the day before her accident, I was already signing Jinx up for Pet Medical and Vet Insurance in case any type of emergency (like this) ever happened. However because the accident happened when it did, she will not be covered under insurance for it.
Any money raised will go straight to Jinx's existing medical bill with the Pet hospital that treated her. If by some amazing circumstances we surpass our goal, any additional money raised will be donated to the Pikes Peak Humane Society.
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. If you unable to donate, we would really appreciate prayers for a healthy and speedy recovery. Thank you so much!
