I had surgery on my right hand on April 18th. I was told by my employer that I would qualify for short term disability. Well, that hasn't happened. As of June 5th, I was informed that I am not eligible for any funds. My appeal has gone in the wrong direction. I am still waiting to hear from DES if I will be getting any Unemployment benefits. I have submitted all the required documents several times and as of today I still am in a holding process.

I have not received a paycheck since April 24th, and the bills keep piling up.

This has been one of the most stressful times in my life!

I am not the type of person who is comfortable asking friends to borrow money.
