Hand Infection surgery

Hi! I’m Casey !
I’m 25 years old and am a full time firefighter for Unified Fire Authority in Salt Lake CIty Utah. I was bitten by a dog on 11/25/2020 and was hospitalized for the night given antibiotics and first aid treatments. I missed a week of work due to the injury but was cleared soon after by a M.D who  signed my medical paper work to return to full time duty. About three weeks later on December 18, 2020, I woke up at the fire station with my    hand swelling and my body temperature reaching 104. I was taken to urgent care by my fire department for a check up where they found I was septic, and needed to go into emergency surgery. I was rushed to the main hospital in Salt Lake City, where the preformed surgery that day and where I stayed for the the next 4 days. I’m currently at my home where I live alone with and IV attached to my heart for the next six weeks with IV antibiotics, and my hand still open and healing.Medical bills have been stacking up day after day with the multiple appointments I have a couple week, I ccant work the overtime shifts and extra side jobs to make my income, I’m still receiving my salary from my department which I’m grateful for but just need a little help to return back to normal life .The main worry is that infection is still present or if it is stiched up too fast that infection will return and my hand will not make it, resulting in losing my career. 

Im reaching out to anyone who can help out in any shape or form. This incident went from nothing to life changing and I’m just looking to return to work and serve my community.
