A Brighter Future For Our Youth :)

Dear Supporters,

My name is George Stellakis and I'm the Youth Division Director for HANAC, Inc. I am on here today hoping to raise money to continue a vital program for disadvantaged high school youth called the In School Youth Program. HANAC was federally funded to provide the program for 15 years but cuts this year put the program to an end. It is for youth whom fall well below the national poverty level providing  them with the same resources  afforded to higher socioeconomic groups helping them graduate high school on time and subsequently attend college. Help HANAC level the playing field when it comes to on time graduation rates and college acceptance.

Money raised will go to direct services and front line staff to provide 45 participants with the below services for an entire year at a per participant cost of $2,243 :

We  have a state of the art community center and computer lab and staff are available full time, from 10am-6pm, as participants are welcome anytime they are not in school. 

During our 15 year history providing these services, our In School Youth Participants had an almost 100% on time graduation rate and the majority entered college, well above the lower NYC graduation rates. This program means so much to HANAC and the residents of Long Island City and Astoria because it diminishes the disadvantages that lower income youth face when graduating on time and entering college. The money will be needed by September 2016 as we already have recruited the participants for the 2016-2017 program. HANAC cannot express how thankful we would be to continue this vital program and give everyone the edge needed to succeed in this 21st century global economy.
 
*Diamond Sponsorship: $8,972 to support 4 participants or higher donations.

*Platnium Sponsorsip: $4,486 to suport 2 participants or any donation up to $4,485.

*Gold Sponsorship:$2,243 to support 1 participant or any donation up to $2,000. 

*Silver Sponsorship: Any donation from $101 to $1,999.

*Bronze Sponsorship: Any donation $100 or below.
