Hana Bennetts ACL surgery

I am making this fundraiser in the aim to help, our Captain, Team mate and Friend, Hana, raise funds towards the cost of surgery and rehabilitation of her knee.

On the 14th August at a training session for Bridgwater United Women FC, Hana suffered a traumatic injury to her leg. An MRI scan revealed the extent of the damage which was a ruptured ACL, MCL tear, Meniscus tear and cartilage damage. Savage.

For those that don't know Hana, She is a bundle of energy, on and off the pitch. A tenacious and talented player that touches every blade of grass on every pitch she plays on. She has so much passion for football and her teammates I sometimes worry she will combust. Football aside, she is determined and driven individual, whose strength during this has been nothing but admirable.

As I am sure your are aware NHS waiting times for these surgeries are extremely lengthy and will most likely leave her in a position where return to play will be around 2+ years. Therefore we are looking to help raise funds so that private surgery can be an option and the process can be a lot quicker which will allow Hana to return to sport and pursue her career as a newly qualified teacher.
