My name is Han (they/he), and this spring I'm finally getting my masculinization top surgery. This is a huge, exciting step in my self-actualization journey. Ever since I was a kid, I identified with masculine characters like Peter Pan. At night, I'd dream that I was him, with the feather in my cap and the ability to fly. Finally getting this gender-affirming surgery will help me gain confidence in my performing and everyday life, a comfortability in my own skin that I've never quite had.

Currently looking at mid-to-late April 2026 for scheduling my surgery! July 2025 is when I completed my consultation appointment with my local surgeon and got approved by my insurance (through work). However, there are out-of-pocket costs and I've been informed that the surgery facility charges and anesthesia won't be covered by my insurance. So this fundraiser is to help offset those costs that my savings won't be able to cover. Because I know this surgery is coming up soon, I'm also dedicating 100% of my drag-performance tips and renaissance festival tips toward the cost of my surgery (saved separately, but I'll keep track and provide updates!).
