Hamstreet FC – Movember Fundraiser for Young Lives vs Cancer

This Movember, a group of Hamstreet FC players are coming together both on and off the pitch to raise vital funds for Young Lives vs Cancer, a charity that has made a life-changing difference to families facing the toughest battles.

Our club’s long-time supporters and one of our sponsors, The Dukes Head, have always been at the heart of our community. This year, our Movember effort carries a special meaning. The landlady’s son was supported by Young Lives vs Cancer during an incredibly difficult time, and the care, strength, and compassion the charity showed has stayed with the family — and with all of us who know them.

Their story reminds us why this cause matters. When a young person is diagnosed with cancer, the entire world changes in an instant. Young Lives vs Cancer steps in to provide practical, emotional, and financial support exactly when families need it most.

So this Movember, we’re growing moustaches, raising awareness, and pulling together as a team to give back to a charity that has given so much to people right on our doorstep.

Our goal: Raise as much as we can to help Young Lives vs Cancer continue their incredible work.
