Hampton Helps Nolan Long

Donation protected
On Sunday, September 13th,  while climbing with a friend, Nolan fell 30 to 40 feet. He was airlifted to Thunder Bay from Red Lake, Ontario where the accident happened.  Nolan has been living there, working as a pilot for a regional airline. Nolan has 2 broken vertebrae, L2 and L3 and underwent surgery Sunday night for that. The spinal cord covering was torn from the fall and from the broken vertebrae but the surgeon was able to repair it and was pleased with how the surgery went.  He also has a facial fracture. His parents, Dan and Denise, flew in late Sunday night and by the time they arrived he was already in surgery. Covid presented some restrictions but  thankfully, his mom is allowed to be with him from 8:00 am till 5:00 pm and then his dad can stay till 8:00 pm. September 16th Nolan had to be taken into surgery again. He was experiencing some numbness and an MRI showed a hematoma. This would be putting pressure on the spinal cord and causing numbness.  His surgery went well and he has recovered more feeling in his legs. September 21st Nolan had surgery on his face this evening, as the bone holding the eye socket was broken. Thankfully his vision is good. September 23rd Nolan began Rehan with a very positive, determined attitude. As you can tell, Nolan is likely in for a long recovery.  Many have asked how they may help.  Prayers for wisdom, peace, patience, determination and full healing would be appreciated.  Those who would like to offer financial support, it would be greatly appreciated.
