Hammersmith Hills Hoists Round 4 Travel Expenses

We are extremely overwhelmed and appreciative of all the support we have been getting not just from the UK and Aus but from around the world!

Messages we have been getting from past members, supporters of other clubs across the UK and of course friends and family reminds us how truly lucky we are to be in this position, and how great the game of Rugby League is!

We smashed our goal in 24 hours! So anything extra that gets donated will now go towards additional expenses for the 2024 season - away travel expenses, facility hire, even maybe a weekly physio!

Thank you again to all that have donated, the boys are absolutely buzzing to get on the pitch in a few weeks against Halifax!

The Hills Hoists are through to the fourth round of the Challenge Cup, not only for the first time in our history but also any SCL club.

We will face a journey to visit Championship team the Halifax Panthers on the weekend of Feb 24th.

We are a very modest club and do our best to run fundraisers and garner sponsors during the year which enables us to cover our yearly operational expenses.

For this unprecedented trip up north to face full-time professional opposition, the travel and accommodation costs involved in getting 23 players and staff from London to Yorkshire are starting to add up, so we are reaching out to our wider community for financial support. This is something we've never done before, but given we are breaking new ground with this historical matchup, we want to give the boys the best preparation possible, so any donation, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated, and an opportunity for anyone who has ever been involved with the Hoists, to give back to a club that has given so much to all of us.
