Hammers United Supporters Fundraising Page

Dear Members, 

As you are aware, in line with our founding principles, Hammers United will always remain free to its membership. 

As you will no doubt have seen, our campaign has grown massively and taken us up a level. Our challenges with GSB are now in the national press regularly.

In addition, our membership currently exceeds 15,000 . 

The committee have privately funded our campaigns to date, supporting the cause that we all believe in. 

The challenge we now face, is that as we plan more proactive and forceful action, we need help from our membership.  

The Hammers United Committee are just ordinary fans, with jobs and families and unfortunately to upscale our campaigns, we cannot continue to pay for this work out of our own pockets. 

So, in line with a number of requests by many fans and members, we have decided that with a heavy heart we need to start a funding page.  

As we have learnt from our custodians, transparency with finances is key! As such details of expenditure will be available and published to our members on a monthly basis, with decisions to spend money requiring committee approval. We will also publish annual accounts in line with our full affiliate status with the F.S.A.

We would like to stress that as fans ourselves, we understand that every one of us has their own set of financial circumstances, and that being a supporter is already an expensive passion. There is absolutely no obligation here, and please, only contribute if and what you can afford. Any contribution is appreciated. 

Your support and spreading the message as a member of Hammers United will always be of greater value than any financial contribution you could make.  However, due to the continued success of the Hammers United campaign, we are forced to ask to reach our goals. 

No-one believed we would get this far and no-one will stop us working tirelessly for the good of our historic football club.
