Hello, I am Hamad Ashour from Gaza City, Palestine. On the first day of the war on Gaza, my home was heavily bombed by the Israeli occupation, resulting in an injury to my leg. This is not my first injury; I have previously suffered an injury from the occupation, which has caused me ongoing problems with the nerves and blood vessels in my leg.

‏My life is now filled with challenges, as I live with my wife, daughter, and son in harsh conditions. We are displaced in southern Gaza, where the financial situation is extremely dire. I struggle with a lack of income and cannot provide for my family’s needs, which adds to my psychological stress.

‏My experience has been terrifying; I was trapped in the hospital, used as a human shield, which forced me to witness difficult and horrifying scenes. Now, I am separated from my family in the north, and they are facing severe challenges and suffering while I struggle to survive in the south.
