Hello All!

On 27th April I'm running the London Marathon and raising money for Steps Charity Worldwide.

Steps is the leading charity working for all those whose lives are affected by childhood lower limb conditions. My sister Harriet was born with double hip dysplasia (DDH) where your hip joints are too shallow and unable to correctly cover the ball of the thighbone. If left untreated, this can lead to permanent deformities and a lifetime of pain.

Unfortunately this was missed when Harriet was born and only noticed later down the line leading to years of surgery and rehab. This isn't a well known condition and can have a major impact on the individuals life if not treated quickly. It's easy for me (with enough training) to run a marathon, but for Harriet it's lucky she can walk today.

Any support in terms of a donation or even sharing this post would be greatly appreciated to spread greater awareness and support young families going through similar situations now.
