This campaign is to help the Hamilton United Martial Arts Academy through the COVID-19 Crisis. Understandably, many members have left during the pandemic. Given the small space of our current building, the 25% capacity permitted indoors means we are extremely limited in how many new members we are able to register at this time.
Our academy was forced to close during April, May and June of 2020. During this time we were given the option to pay 1/2 of the amount of our rent. Along with several businesses in our shopping center, this was our only option to keep things going. Since businesses have been reopened for some time, the remaining balance from those months are now due. Rent also increased in July of 2020 as well as the amount charged for (business) utilities.
We are asking that you contribute what you can to help cover the monthly expenses for our academy during this time when funds coming into the academy are very limited during the COVID-19 Crisis.
