Veronica (Kirk-Clausen) Flanagan has been fighting cancer with all the ferocity of Molly Weasley. In her sensitively written CaringBridge journal, she recently expressed:
”Obsessed: One of the only things that works for me to turn the nausea around is to focus really, really hard on something outside of chemo, cancer, and sickness. I’m a little late to the game on this, but my latest focusing technique is on “Hamilton.” I’ve been listening and listening, trying to memorize the songs. What a great distraction! Now I’ve got to get myself to a show!”
I was thinking that we can help get her to a show. The best week is next week so we have to act fast. I’m pretty confident that there will be many people who’ll want to bring a little boost to Veronica during this difficult time. Just a lot of little donations will get her to Hamilton.
