On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, the Hamilton family suffered a devastating, unexpected loss when Jeremy Hamilton, 47, was fatally injured in a tragic car accident in Panama City Beach, FL. Jeremy leaves behind the love of his life for 21 years, Wendi, and three children: Madison 20, Bree,18, and Zane,17.
Jeremy and Wendi were small business owners of the Emerald Coast Mirror Maze at Pier Park in Panama City Beach, FL. This full-time business has been the sole source of family income for the last 11 years. As with every family entertainment business in a resort town, income is limited during the off-season and can be greatly impacted when natural disasters occur, such as Hurricane Michael in 2018. Since the operations of the business required full-time dedication from both, the future poses significant challenges to Wendi as a single parent, especially when these income-impacting events arise each year. Wendi faces even greater daily challenges as labor costs increase to hire maintenance and operational staff to handle the work that Jeremy performed himself.
Undoubtedly, the biggest financial impact of Jeremy's untimely passing, is that they did not have a life insurance policy. The children's futures, by far, were Jeremy and Wendi's highest priorities.

Jeremy's Story:
Everyone that was blessed to know Jeremy understands what a profound loss this is. Jeremy had such a charismatic, cheerful, supportive, larger than life personality that the family has been flooded with blessings, prayers, and memories from people that knew him as far back as elementary school. All of the memories shared have the same sentiment: that Jeremy will be forever remembered for his selfless, loving, affectionate, and gentle nature. Those that knew Jeremy since becoming a dad, will attest that those same qualities were reflected in how he raised his children. Jeremy's passion was his family. He loved them fiercely and centered his life on guiding and nurturing them, and encouraging them to follow their dreams. He supported their ambitions and was their biggest cheerleader, standing right beside them along the way. He successfully played the role of coach, trainer, and team dad for their sports teams and was loved as a 2nd dad to many of their friends and teammates.
To know Jeremy was to love him; because if he knew you, he loved you and would show and tell you often.
