Recognizing that demand for funds may be high, and the total dollar amount available is dependent on donations, businesses will access funds through an application process available at www.hamiltonbrf.com. Applications for funding will be reviewed by HDA and, when approved, funds will be distributed to applicants immediately. The intent is to remove as many barriers as possible to get these funds in the hands of local businesses as soon as possible. If funds remain when businesses are once again fully operable, these funds will remain with HDA and be used to provide continued assistance to local Hamilton businesses.
The Hamilton Downtown Association recognizes that we have all been impacted in one way or another by the COVID-19 pandemic, some more than others. We ask that you please give as much as you are able so that Hamilton can continue to have vibrant and thriving local businesses when this is all over. If you are unable to give at the moment, we encourage you to continue supporting Hamilton’s local businesses by purchasing gift cards or patronizing (at a safe distance) those businesses that remain operational. We live in a special place, not simply for its beauty, but more importantly for the community support we share amongst friends and neighbors. Our hope is that we can all band together as a community to lessen the economic impacts of this crisis and preserve our cherished local businesses.
