Hello!

Recently I've gotten to know a few hams in Ukraine who are also Morse code enthusiasts.

With everything going on in Ukraine, basic Morse code supplies like even simple Morse keys are difficult for them to purchase. Nick (UR6QV) in Zaporizhzhia is one of the Morse code enthusiasts I met recently. He asked if I could donate a few Morse straight keys. I contacted CW Morse, a US manufacturer of Morse keys. To my delight, they donated six keys in March. I covered the cost of shipping these keys to Zaporizhzhia. The Ukrainian hams LOVED them! They enthusiastically asked if we could send more. Nick has agreed to distribute the keys to clubs across Ukraine.

I would like to be able to send at least 100 more keys (both straight keys and paddle kits) to help promote Morse in Ukraine. CW Morse company has graciously offered to give a deep discount on any straight keys that are purchased from them. We are also planning to print and ship 3D printed parts and hardware to build dual-paddle Morse keys. Between the discounted price from CW Morse, 3D supplies and hardware, and the shipping costs, there is an estimated project budget of $3500.

I'm first reaching out to about sixty of you whom I know and are also Morse enthusiasts. Eventually, I might reach out to other ham radio groups. I am asking for your help to purchase these keys. Your donations will send keys to help spark Morse enthusiasts in Ukraine and strengthen the reach of our underestimated hobby. If each of you could donate $60 or even $100, we can reach our goal of shipping 100 more keys to hams across Ukraine. (If we exceed our goal we will send even more keys to Ukraine.)
