Hallway Monitor Pitch

In this thriller and psychological drama film which focuses on themes of mental health awareness and familiar bonds. Hallway Monitor is a student graduation short film centred around a young boy named George Ellis (14) who is a young carer for his older sister Josie (17).

While at a hospital appointment for Josie accompanied by their mother Carly (42) George makes his rounds of the hospital switching off all the empty plug sockets believing something terrible will happen to Josie if his task is incomplete.

This film is a personal connection to the writer and the crew felt moved by this narrative as it is a hard-hitting story based around George’s anxiety and OCD along with confronting and facing his fears of losing someone, he is close to.

We wanted to create this film to bring more awareness about OCD and anxiety accompanied by the frustrations and intrusive thoughts this character has it contains themes of the fear of the unknown as anything could happen to Josie in George’s mind.

With your help we can bring this film to life and show the important impact it can have on people watching the film we want to treat this film with our utmost care and respect.
