Halloween Hit-n-Run: Dad Saves Daughter — Sawyer’s Rehab Fun

He saved his little girl. Now he needs our help.

On Halloween night, our son Sawyer was walking with his wife Iz and their baby in a stroller. He heard an engine spool up behind them. In a single reflex, Sawyer shoved the stroller—and Iz—out of the truck’s path. The truck hit him.

Florida Highway Patrol says three trick-or-treaters were struck near Sandhill Blvd & Seasons Dr (Charlotte County, FL) and the driver fled before being found and arrested. We’re shaken, but so grateful Sawyer’s little girl is safe. Sawyer is in the hospital, beginning what will be a long recovery.

We’re raising funds to steady the ground beneath this young family while he heals.

Your gift will help cover:
-Medical bills (ER, imaging, surgery, rehab)
-Lost wages during recovery
-Childcare and transportation
-Follow-up therapy and adaptive needs

We promise transparency.
We’ll post updates on Sawyer’s condition and expenses. If you can’t donate, a share truly helps. Thank you for lifting our family when we need it most.
