Hi Everyone, for those who don’t know Hallie, She is the most positive, happy, caring child you will ever come across.
Hallie was able to walk for around a year as she was learning, however she suddenly lost this ability with no indication as to why. This is despite being under the care of multiple departments both locally and in London, Hallie remains undiagnosed and, in the words of one, “…a medical mystery…”.
As many may know, Hallies daddy, Connor and myself are no longer together but we are fortunate to have a fantastic relationship and Hallie stays at Daddy’s every weekend, with Nanny and Grandad. Unfortunately, a lot of the equipment required to care for Hallie is only available to myself as her primary carer so we are having to self-source and self-fund as so many others do too.
We are trying to do this to get the equipment she needs in order to help her move forward in life with some independence.
This tiny trax mobility chair will benefit Hallie at school so that she can control where she goes rather than relying on somebody else and she is then able to feel a little bit more involved. And as for the strength building equipment, that is to help Hallie gain muscle in her legs, trunk and neck so that we can move forward in helping her start to stand or use her walker more independently.
If you can help us in anyway as a family we would appreciate anything anyone is able to
contribute. It seems right to share with everyone we can!
There is no guarantee that Hallie will get the complete funding for the tiny trax, however if we do get funding a donation will be given to the Step and Learn charity which have helped Hallie from the beginning of her journey and the rest will be kept for Hallie for any further equipment we may need in the future.
All shares are so valuable to us. If you wish to contribute, we would be most grateful and, should you prefer to avoid the fees deducted by the platform provider, please direct message me and I can provide the details of our bank account to which funds are being directed. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
