Help Laura & Andy Honour Their Beautiful Children

Hi, I’m a friend of Laura and Andy’s, and I’ve set up this fundraiser to support them during a time no one should ever have to face. Sometimes life hands people heartbreak beyond words — and what Laura and Andy have endured is truly devastating.

In December 2012, Laura gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Ruby. Just 24 days later, Ruby’s life was tragically taken by her father. While the investigation into Ruby’s death was still ongoing, in August 2013, Laura’s 21-month-old son Logan was found unresponsive after spending time with his father. The unimaginable truth came to light: both children were taken by the same man — their father — who is now serving a 40-year prison sentence.

Despite carrying the unbearable weight of this trauma, Laura continued forward with incredible courage. She later met her partner Andy, and in 2024, they were blessed with a daughter, Hallie. Hallie was born with congenital kidney failure and spent much of her short life in hospital. Sadly, she passed away at just three months old in January 2024.

Then, in January 2025, after a difficult pregnancy, Laura and Andy welcomed their son Thomas. During pregnancy, they discovered he had a rare condition called Titinopathy, a severe muscular disorder that led to multiple complications. Tragically, Thomas passed away in hospital at only 3 days old.

Laura has always dreamed of being a mother — to give her children the love, safety, and opportunities she never had growing up. No parent should have to bury one child, let alone four. The strength Laura and Andy show every day is nothing short of extraordinary.

headstones for Ruby and Logan have been placed, but they have not yet been able to afford memorials for Hallie and Thomas. Headstones can cost thousands, and the emotional and financial toll of losing four children is overwhelming.
