Late in the evening of 27 December 2025 in Busselton, our family’s world was shattered when our beautiful niece, Halle Cameron-Phillips (forever 23), was tragically taken from us far too soon.
Halle was full of life, a rare soul, full of strength, and determination. She had a deep love for sport and proudly played AFLW in Busselton & was looking forward to playing ladies AFLW for Swan Districts Football Club. Since leaving high school, she worked tirelessly, always giving her best and never shying away from hard work. That was just who she was — committed, driven, and kind-hearted.
On that tragic night, Halle was simply driving with her uncle beside her, going about their evening, when their lives were forever changed. In a moment no family should ever have to endure, her vehicle was struck by another vehicle. Resulting in a moment of unimaginable tragedy, our precious Halle was taken from us, leaving a hole in our family that will never be filled.
My brother Rhett and sister-in-law Jemma are now facing the unimaginable — the loss of their second eldest daughter. Halle was deeply family-oriented, the kind of person who would drop everything to help anyone, anytime, without hesitation. Her love, generosity, and bright spirit touched so many lives, and her absence leaves a silence that can never truly be filled.
The pain of losing Halle is indescribable. The silence she has left behind is overwhelming. Her laughter, her strength, her kindness — all gone far too soon.
We know this time of year is already incredibly difficult for many, but our family is now facing the unbearable task of laying our precious girl to rest. We are reaching out with heavy hearts, asking for the kindness and compassion of our community to help us give Halle the farewell she deserves — one filled with love, dignity, and respect.
Any support, no matter how small, means more to our family than we can ever express. Thank you for helping us honour the life of a beautiful young woman who gave so much love to everyone around her.
