My Brother-in-Law Joe, my Sister Cindy and Nephews Luke and Noah, residents of Boulder Creek, were evacuated from their home on August 18. They were ordered to leave immediately because of imminent fire danger, and left in a rush. They had no time to gather additional belongings other than the clothes they were wearing at the time of the evacuation.
Unfortunately, the home they were living in burned to the ground in the CZU Lighting Fire of Santa Cruz County. All of their personal belongings went up in flames (i.e., furniture, clothing, photo albums, electronics, toys, books, kitchenware, linens, and more). Thankfully, they are safe and relieved that no one was injured.
There have been many family and friends who have asked how they can help, and that is the motivation for this fundraiser. If you would like to help, any donation would be greatly appreciated and received with immense gratitude.
Please feel free to share this information to anyone who is interested in helping the CZU Lightning Fire victims. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
Note: You may change the tip to any amount of your choice by selecting "Other."
