Halifax Wavecutters Aquatic Club

The Wavecutters are one of the

highest performing aquatic clubs in the Halifax Regional Municipality, and have had much

success in developing athletes in competitive swimming. We are hoping you can help us achieve

the goal of creating the best and most innovative programs for our athletes.

In carefully sized groups, our athletes are able to perform tasks without much distraction and are

able to focus on the technical aspects of Swimming. Much of the success of this club in the past

has come from emphasis on an individual approach, not only in technical aspects of swimming,

but also the mental and fitness aspects. The smaller group size allows for more focus on each

individual athlete. However, it also means there are fewer athletes to help cover the financial

costs of training, such as pool space rental, travel, equipment, promotional materials, swim meet

registrations, team clothing, and swim suits.
