Half-marathon for Joel!

Alice and I are walking a half-marathon on 15th August (I didn't have enough time to train to run it!) in order to raise funds for a lovely little boy called Joel, who is 7 and has epilepsy. A while ago he had a serious epileptic seizure which resulted in a lengthy hospital stay and rehabilitation.

Joel is the brother of Alice's close friend, and the family are raising money to be able to buy a wheelchair accessible van, in order to be able to travel with Joel and take him to appointments, as it is almost impossible with their current vehicular arrangements.
