Half-Marathon for Doctors Without Borders
My name is Alice and on 31st August, I will be running my first (and probably only) half-marathon.
I've chosen to raise money for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). MSF deliver medical humanitarian assistance in over 75 countries, saving lives in crisis situations from Gaza to Sudan.
Over the past few years, it’s been impossible ignore the sheer scale of human suffering I see every time I open social media. I’ve often felt pretty helpless, especially as government aid programs continue to be slashed as cost-cutting measures.
I'm running the Brighton Beach Half-Marathon to support MSF's life-saving work, and I’d be so grateful if you would support me. Every donation makes a real impact.
$40 (£20) can provide life-saving vaccines for 100 people.
I should clarify that I am not, by any means, a runner. So seeing your donations to support such an essential organisation will really help to keep me motivated over the coming weeks.
Please consider sharing this page with your friends and family. Thank you so much for your support.
