Halflives broken van

Hey this is Linda from Halflives,

We are currently touring Europe and the UK but things got really hard for us this time around as our camper broke after the first show of this tour.

We didn't get immediate assistance and stayed stuck for 2 days - this made us cancel two shows, which for us means losing money, disappointing fans and a lot of frustration.

Once we finally managed to get our camper to a garage, they hadn't been able to fix it right away, which put us in the position of either skipping more shows or renting another vehicle to continue the tour. We chose the latter, payed almost the double of the money compared to the first rent and kept going.

Two days ago we received the bill of the - now - fixed camper along with the news that neither the rental company nor the insurance will take care of it. We will have to be the ones to pay for it.

These are hard expenses for an independent band on tour considering the overall costs necessary just to make touring possible (crew, merch printing, vehicle rent, fuel, tolls, ferries..), and that's why we decided to ask for your help.

We are not the type of people to easily give up and we've always done the best we could to keep doing what we love, release new music and bring the Halflives show near you. Neither this time we gave up, but we need a little push.

I'm grateful of the community we've built during these years as a band and we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for always having our backs.
