This year, I am taking on the Tatton Park Half Marathon to raise money for The Christie Charity, in loving memory of my grandad.

My grandad was an incredible person who was kind, strong, and always there for his family. He faced his illness with courage, and The Christie played such an important role in supporting him and our family during that time. The care, dedication, and compassion shown by everyone at The Christie was extraordinary, and I want to give something back in his honour.

Running 13.1 miles is both a challenge and a privilege. Every step I take will be for my grandad, and for the thousands of other families who benefit from the life-saving treatment and the around the clock care that The Christie provides.
