Half Marathon for The Matthew Daulby Foundation
Donation protected
In July, our family were hit with news that would shake our worlds forever, and rip our hearts out. Matthew Daulby, who was just 19-a loved son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend lost his life due to a vicious knife attack on a night out. Since then, we have been living in a nightmare.
Matthew's parents, Gary and Angela, and brother, Tom, have set up The Matthew Daulby Foundation in Matthew's name to try to prevent more youngsters losing their lives to knife crime and to help those without the level of support they have so gratefully received. The Foundation will support families affected by knife crime. The Foundation will also support other knife crime charities and the education of young people about knife crime and its effects. The Foundation slogan is. “Matthew says, choose life, not a knife”.
To raise money for the foundation, Matthew’s family- Tom (brother), Jen (cousin), James (cousin), Nick (uncle), Lewis (friend), are running the Liverpool Half Marathon on 17th March. Training for this with Matthew in our minds has been the motivation. We will never stop fighting for justice, and to make a change in your name.
All funds will go directly to the Matthew Daulby Foundation.
We love and miss you beyond words, beautiful boy.
Matthew says, “Choose a Life, Not a Knife”
