Half Marathon for Sarcoma Research

In November, my best friend’s brother Josh was diagnosed with a very rare sarcoma cancer.

In May 2024 I’ll be running the Oak Bay Half Marathon, raising funds for cancer research. The money raised will go directly to support a lab at UBC that is researching the immune response to cancer with the goal of developing immune-based strategies to prevent, detect and treat cancer. In collaboration with other groups, they are developing a clinical trials program to bring novel immunotherapies to patients.
