This November, we will participate in the Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon for the first time! As part of our training efforts, we are fundraising for Fuel the Bruehl.

Fuel the Bruehl benefits a cause close to our hearts, our cousin Derek Bruehl. In September 2020 Derek suffered a life-changing injury while swimming in Cape May, NJ. Now quadriplegic injured at C5 / C6, Derek's journey to walk again continues each and every day. He has made incredible progress over the past year through working his ass off and being one of the most determined people we know.

Our goal to raise $13,100 for Fuel the Bruehl represents the 13.1 miles we will run this November. The funds will directly support Derek's journey to walk again through his regular training at Project Walk. Project Walk continues to provide intense activity-based recovery programs, education and training for Derek to get him closer to this goal.

We appreciate any support towards our goal and towards Derek's recovery. He has never given up, and that will be what pushes us to do the same in this race! Let's Fuel the Bruehl!!
