Half marathon and mountain climb for Charity
Hi my name is Lois. In 2021, I was diagnosed with a cancer in my salivary gland called adenoid cystic carcinoma whilst a patient at birmingham children’s hospital. Fortunately, I was very lucky and my treatment was successful. Every 3 months I still need to have scans and checks. Birmingham children’s hospital was amazing with my treatment and all of the NHS staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Me and my sister are running the Warwick half marathon in February and me and my family are climbing mount snowdon in aid of birmingham children’s hospital. This is to help the children that are less fortunate than I was and make a difference in children’s lives. Any contributions would be very appreciated. Thank you :)
