I am so excited about my summer internship with Mission Church in Ventura, California! I start my internship in May and work with them through July!

I have been interested in working with a church in California since I started school in the Fall of 2020. I have experience living and working in the northeast and the midwest, and this internship will allow me to gain experience on the west coast so that I have a broader understanding of ministry context across the entire US.

Mission Church is providing me with a well-rounded and hands-on learning experience with this internship. I will participate in staff and team meetings, serve in children’s ministry, youth ministry, outreach, and have the opportunity to learn a lot. On top of all this, this internship will count as a required course credit for my degree program at Ozark Christian College.

Mission Church is providing housing for me this summer. I am being asked to fundraise for the rest of my financial needs. Those needs include the cost of traveling to and from California via Missouri, groceries, gas and some spending money. And because I will not be able to have a paying job this summer, I am raising a little bit to help with tuition for my senior year at Ozark.
