Meet Haley. She’s four years old, and she has the most beautiful smile!

Haley was born with a disease called Hypertonic Glycogenosis, a rare genetic disease that requires both parents to be carriers, only affecting 1 in every 100,000 births. She experiences seizures multiple times a day, cannot speak, eat, or hold her head up, and requires 24-hour care from her loving and dedicated grandparents. Despite all of her challenges, she smiles at the things that bring her joy: Paw Patrol, her own dog, Luna, who also believes that no job is too big and no pup is too small, and most of all, her grandfather Josh’s voice. When Josh speaks to her, her face softens to remind everyone just how much she understands love.

Haley’s grandparents have devoted the last four years to her ensuring she is safe, loved, and surrounded by comfort every single day, including using their savings to buy a house. Now they need our help to make their home safe and accessible, equipped to fit Haley’s mobility and medical needs as she grows and continues to amaze her family and team of doctors every day! Right now, Haley sleeps with her grandmother so she can be monitored through the night, and her grandfather, who deals with his own health concerns, sleeps in a chair close by. Transporting her safely is beginning to require more equipment, and simple daily care requires physical lifting that is becoming more difficult for her grandparents as she grows bigger and stronger. We are hoping to raise $30,000 to turn this home into a true accessible home for the Clabough family, including:
