As you may know, I have just completed my first semester at Liberty University. I cannot sufficiently express the knowledge, both academically and spiritually, with which the Lord has provided me in just my first four months at Liberty in a brief letter! To sum it all up, I am on fire for Christ, and I have been praying that He would reveal to me how I can be serving Him. He has recently answered those prayers, and I believe that I have been called to serve in Kathmandu, Nepal with Royal Servants from June 25th to August 9th, 2016.
Before my team and I embark on this life-changing journey, we will be equipped with the skills necessary to evangelize to people who have never heard the Gospel and those of Nepal’s predominant religions, Hinduism and Buddhism. While in Kathmandu and surrounding villages, we will be traveling to schools, leper colonies, refugee camps, orphanages, isolated churches, and city slums to teach the Gospel, in addition to establishing meaningful relationships with the Nepali people and allowing Christ’s unconditional love to shine through us in everything that we do.
The cost of the mission trip is $4,650. My first financial deadline is May 2nd, 2016, which will be used to cover my plane ticket. The remaining money is due June 29th. I intend to contribute as much as I can financially, however I will undoubtedly need support to raise the funds. I am seeking people who are willing to donate to my mission trip, who will empower me to fulfill my calling in Nepal. I ask that you will pray about financially supporting my cause. If you cannot make such a commitment, prayers are also needed and would be a significant contribution to my ministry!
I am faithful that entering the mission field in Nepal is my calling at this stage in my life, so I firmly believe that God will provide my every need to make it happen. I am looking forward to witnessing how He will move in and through me as I serve Him by being His hands and feet to the Nepali people. Please pray for me as I prepare for this trip, for every person that I will encounter while overseas, and that this experience will draw my knowledge about God and His marvelous power from my head to my heart. I sincerely appreciate any way the Lord may be prompting you to help, and for you taking the time to read about what the Lord has placed on my heart!
