Haley's Stroke Recovery Fund

On August 25, 2020, Haley woke up and knew something wasn't right.  She was unable to walk and her speech was very slurred. From her working experience in Cardiology, she was able to recognize that she was most likely having a stroke.   Luckily, her husband, William found her as he was getting ready for work and rushed her to the hospital.  When she got to the hospital she underwent CT scans and an MRI. It was determined that she was having a left pontine stroke. It was also determined that she had suffered at least 3 previous strokes that she was unaware of.  Currently, she has no use of her right side.  She can't walk, talk, or do basic things for herself.  Haley will be transferred to a long-term rehabilitation center and it will be a long road to recovery.

I created this Gofundme to assist Haley and her family with the medical expenses, equipment expenses, and other necessities on this road to recovery.  I anticipate that her long-term medical expenses will surpass our initial goal, but we are hopeful that this will help alleviate some of the financial burdens our family will be facing at this time, so Haley can recover with the least amount of stress possible.
