As many of you know on November 21, 2021, Jessica suffered a near fatal aneurysm. She was immediately life-flighted from Montana to Seattle, where she underwent 9 hours of brain surgery. She spent 10 days in the neurological ICU at Harborview Medical Center. Thanks to the excellent treatment she received at Harborview, and prayers of many, she survived and was released from the hospital on December 1, 2021. Although the initial surgery was successful, she still has an active aneurysm that will require treatment and monitoring. She is scheduled to return to Seattle for an additional procedure in June.
Jessica’s ongoing health needs require specialized care that is not offered in Montana. In order to be closer to neurological specialists, and a specialized neurosurgeon, the Hale family has decided to relocate to Kansas. This move will allow Jessica to receive the care that she needs without having to travel back and forth to Seattle.
Since her surgery, Jessica has been unable to work. Her doctors have stated that it would not be safe for her to return and she has applied for permanent disability. The cost of traveling to and from Seattle, as well as loss of income, and now moving expenses, has put a great deal of financial stress on the Hale family.
If you would like to assist with their financial burden, any donation would be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go directly to Jessica and Ty to help cover travel expenses and moving costs. If you would prefer to make a donation via Venmo please send it directly to Jessica-Hale-1017.
On behalf of Jessica & Ty, thank you for the outpouring of love, prayers and support shown over the last six months and undoubtedly, in the months to come. We will continue to update you on Jessica’s health as well as the status of their move.
